Our Story
The BeautyCE Institute was spawned by Altogether Marketing LLC, a branding and technology company. Altogether Marketing is owned and led by Ms. Audrey Wiggins, who was a licensed managing nail technician. Prior to entering the industry, she had many marketing clients from different business industries as well as cosmetology, barbering and massage therapy. During her years of practice she continued to increase her client base of professionals from traditional salons, spas and salon lofts (before they were even called lofts). She has been willing to share her knowledge of business with fellow industry professionals. This led to the creation of the small business development series for cosmetologists.

BackgroundOur team brings a combined experience of over 75 years in cosmetology, business, marketing, social media marketing, education, technology, video and customer service. All that experience and passion goes into our business courses to offer excellence to the beauty professional’s growth and development.
Course Offerings
Our initial educational offerings were online videos from other providers for advance services, like pregnancy massage, makeup techniques, hair cutting, Brazilian waxing, and more. In 2020, we were awarded course approval from the Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board for the 4-hour course, “Savvy Cosmetologist Small Business Development Series”. The course is offered entirely online through a learning management system (LMS). Participants can use the system from any internet capable device, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. Currently, we are approved for the following licensees for the renewal period 2019-2021 :

What you will LearnThe “Savvy Cosmetologist Small Business Development Series” is a 4-hour continuing education course that meets learning objectives in the state of Ohio through: customer service, management, marketing, and using video to promote the salon business. Users will develop or enhance competencies in basic knowledge and practical application in the aforementioned categories, relevant to the growth and quality of their practice whether an owner or independent contractor. The course is open to cosmetologists and manicurists including salon owners, employees and independent contractors with the designated licenses listed above.
